Rewriting Website Copy for a Graphic Designer

For this project, I partnered with a talented graphic designer who already had a beautifully crafted website, but felt like her copy wasn’t quite doing her brand justice. She wanted her website to feel more personal, client-focused, and true to her style and energy.

My mission was to take her existing content, infuse it with more warmth, more clarity, and way more connection, so her dream clients would feel instantly seen and excited to work with her.

About the project

Who: Lindsay White - graphic designer and founder of LW Design Space.

What she needed: Her existing copy was polished but felt a bit flat and disconnected from the vibrant, strategic work she delivers. She needed copy that truly reflected her creativity, passion, and the real transformation she brings to her clients.

The goal

Despite having a visually beautiful website, the original copy lacked the personality, connection, and client-centered focus her dream audience craved.

Our goal was to:

  • Enhance her brand’s voice and personality in the copy.

  • Position her as both a creative and strategic expert in the design space.

  • Create clear, compelling messaging that makes potential clients feel understood and ready to take action.

The transformation highlights

Website copy transformation

What changed?

  • Stronger positioning: The new copy shifts from just "capturing a vision" to empowering growth and connection, which is what clients actually want.

  • Clarity and differentiation: Mentioning “Showit websites” clarifies the platform, speaking to a specific audience.

  • Benefit-driven: It’s no longer just about design looking good, it’s about real business growth.

What changed?

  • Clear client benefit: It’s not just about aesthetics anymore, it’s about functionality and strategy.

  • Addressing a real pain point: Many business owners struggle with pretty websites that don’t convert and the new headline hits that pain point directly.

  • More relatable: It feels more human and client-centered, not just polished.

What changed?

  • More aspirational: Instead of a vague promise, it now evokes emotion and ambition. Who doesn’t want an unforgettable brand?

  • Empowering tone: Shifts the focus from simply "bringing a vision to life" to creating real impact.

What changed?

  • More personal and engaging: “Tells Your Story” makes it about the client’s journey, not just about business buzzwords.

  • Emotion-driven: Appeals to storytelling, connection, and authenticity, which are powerful emotional triggers.

What changed?

  • Introduced a problem-solution framework: Starts by addressing the stress of mismatched or outdated websites.

  • Highlights transformation: Shows how the service goes beyond “nice design” to functional, strategic, and growth-focused solutions.

  • Better storytelling: Weaves features into a narrative about helping the client succeed, rather than just listing them.

  • More reassuring tone: Frames the designer as a guide and partner in solving the client’s challenges.

Rewrite of the Services page for a graphic designer

What changed?

  • Highlights the benefits: Stress-free, expert help when you need it, reliable support without long waits or contracts.

  • Relatability: Acknowledges common pain points in small business ownership ("daily tasks," "keeping up with updates").

  • Client-centric approach: The new copy reassures clients that they’ll feel supported and their business will run more smoothly because of this service.

  • Clearer positioning: Emphasizes fast, tailored, and no-hassle support, setting the service apart from less personal or more cumbersome options.

Project summary

What I changed:

  • Infused more brand personality and authenticity into the messaging.

  • Reframed offerings in a way that is client-focused and solution-driven.

  • Made the website copy clearer, more relatable, and action-oriented.

  • Added emotional resonance to better connect with her dream audience.

  • Improved client journey (Each section now gently guides the reader through a journey: understanding their struggles ➡️ showing a solution ➡️ offering a clear next step)

  • Made sure the tone feels more approachable, real, and empowering.

Why it works:

By combining clear benefits, storytelling, and a friendly but confident voice, the new copy invites visitors in, makes them feel seen, and encourages them to take action, not just admire her designs.

Client testimonial

Here’s what Lindsay, the founder of LW Design Studio had to say about the project:

“Before working with Veronika, my copy that didn’t hit the mark. I wanted a website copy that aligns with my target audience and feels more like me. She did a great job of capturing the tone and vibe I was after! It has helped me feel more confident in connecting with my ideal clients. I really wasn’t sure what to expect or if she would be able to capture the tone and language I was wanting but she did, and did it perfectly! It was a smooth process and I am very happy with the final product. I feel like the copy now showcases my services and highlights the benefits of working with me better. Veronika is easy to work with, and she captured what I wanted with ease. The turn around was quick. Veronika, you did great, thank you!”

Collaborating with Lindsay was such a rewarding experience. Her ability to blend aesthetics with strategy is truly next level, and her enthusiasm for helping small businesses build thoughtful, intentional brands shines through in everything she does. She cares deeply about creating designs that don’t just look good, but work hard behind the scenes too.

My goal was to take her existing website copy and refine it into something that felt more aligned, personality-packed, and client-focused. Now, her website not only showcases her stunning design work, it also speaks directly to the people she wants to serve. The result? A clear, engaging, and elevated brand experience that feels as smart and strategic as the designs she creates.
