(Btw, if you played along with my game of 2 truths and a lie, it’s time to uncover the truth. My celebrity crush is actually Ryan Reynolds, not Ryan Gosling. Now, back to business.)
My therapist once called my communication style “spicy.” He didn't mean it as a compliment and I’m totally taking this out of context, but I do actually believe “spiciness” is the magic I bring to the table.
I don’t do boring, and I don’t think your brand should either.
Personality is your best sales tool, and “sounding professional” is just code for sounding like everyone else. Your copy should sound like you: not some dull version your high school English teacher would clap for. The version with opinions, spice, and a voice that makes your dream clients feel like they’ve found their people. That’s what I help you write: words with a backbone.
NOT MY FIRST RODEO:
A few things I’ve done (and loved) along the way

’ve been in the game a while. I’ve written for 50+ brands, marketing agencies, and small businesses. From websites to newsletters to launch campaigns to in-person events and even apps. If it has words, I’ve probably written it.

But let’s rewind for a sec.
Writing’s been my thing since I was 9, when I turned a school project into my first “book” and realized words could make people feel something. (It was dramatic. It involved dogs saving the world. It was totally on-brand for me, tbh.)
Fast forward a couple decades, a Creative Writing course at Oxford, a detour through the world of SEO and article writing, and now here I am: running Lavender’s Writing and helping women like you ditch the cringe and find your voice online.
I’ve written for over 50 brands, coached small business owners through brand messaging makeovers, and built digital products that teach other creatives how to sell with clarity and personality, without selling their soul in the process.
I didn’t start this brand to play nice with bro-marketing. I started it because I was sick of watching smart, capable women get told they had to be louder, pushier, or someone else entirely to make a sale. Not here. Not on my watch.
